Move over Viagra, hello big hairy spider?

For those having trouble with Erectile Disfunction, the toxin from the Brazilian wandering spider can wander right down to your penis and create an erection that lasts for a few hours. The downside is that it might curse you with impotence afterwards.

There is hope that the venom from the spider could be used in medications to treat Erectile Disfunction in the future. Of course, researchers have only isolated the toxin for use on laboratory rats, so it has yet to be determined if isolating the venom would potentially work in medication for humans.

The spiders are native to South America and according to my trusted resource, Wikipedia, were given the name wanderer because they "wander around on the jungle floor at night." In the daylight hours, the wanderers hang out with the termites in termite mounds, but I'm not sure who would win in a fight.

In addition to the spider's erection-granting abilities, the Brazilian Wandering spider won the dubious distinction of being the 2007 Guiness Book of World Records Most Venemous Animal. Kudos all the way around should go to this amazing spider.
