Many of us have seen our own x-rays after breaking a bone or having a bad car accident, but what about animal x-rays? The skeletal systems of animals might amaze you if you've never seen them before and the London Zoo took it upon themselves to release some incredibly cool images of x-rayed animals to the public.
I love how the zoo included each animal's name, showing how every animal is different with its own personality and how each creature is beloved to the zoo itself. From Cornelious the corn snake to Nasi the big-headed turtle, each animal looks just as incredible on the inside as it does on the outside.
One of the really cool things about these photos is that they show us just how many bones a snake has. They have so many more vertebrae than we do and it's astounding to see in a visual depiction like this. Personally I also enjoyed seeing the skeleton of Marion the armadillo.
