Have you ever heard of the ladybird spider? These incredible arachnids look like ladybugs from behind and they were almost extinct before Ian Hughes took on the job of restoring their popultion. By relocating the spiders in the United Kingdom, he's been able to help increase the spiders' numbers.
Velvety and beautiful, the spiders are only about the size of a raisin, and their numbers have increased to around 2,000 since conservation efforts have helped them recover. They've been relocated with very simple means which proves that saving a species doesn't have to be complicated or difficult.
